With no plan, little money, and nowhere to go, they begin a journey into the unknown , one filled with tough choices, moral crossroads, and the unrelenting pressure of poverty.
As they drift from town to town in search of shelter, food, and a way to survive, offers begin to appear some honest, some dangerous, and others deeply compromising. The bond between stepmother and stepson is tested as they navigate a world that doesn’t care if they break.
Will they find a way forward without losing who they are?
Or will the road change them forever?
