Nevertheless, looking beyond the surface, there's a darker side to this pretty facade: black markets, torture, Rough Sex, illegal content trafficking, unlawful assemblies, data theftā¦ Eternum follows the rules of no man.
For some reason, governments turn a blind eye to this; thereās no regulation and no control. Some say itās because the game is highly addictive, some say itās because the market moves millions of dollars daily, some say those in power have been bribed, and others sayā¦ thereās something else going on.

For at least most of the people played it enjoys it, what kind of fictional stories that you can write to please others then if you think you have better fantasy in writing a novel compared to Caribdis? Holy crap the scene with Nova was great. And having her do the Jinx cosplay again, as a way for them to revisit their encounter at the Halloween party. Loved It.
What came after was a bit of a shot in the gut though.
Holy crap the game is crap. Highly Overrated. There are some snowballing about this crap suckers. If you like reading Novel, Light Novel, Manga, Comic, this won't be for you.

I thought only the art that looks recycled from HS2 game. The story is also recycled from here and there. Music are often destroying the immersion.
And most importantly
The adult scene? It made me assume it made by virgin.... Totally lacking.
I don't know if this is the western vn standard. It looks like a desperate attempt by AVN western community to have something they could use as a bible. But this is not that.
If you are throwing Fifty Shades of Grey into another world, that's what it feels like dropping Eternum to anonymous western AVN community..... I won't reccomend both the num and the grey.

"Story? average", what so average about it? It have better progression of relationship than most of the vn i played rather than "meet and fuck" storyline kind of shit. Even most of the reddit discussion said that he made a solid storyline and dialogue
"art?Average" they use sources from Honey Select 2 and programmed the game in Ren'py, you retard. There's no art, there's only model, and those model are available publicly. His rendering is way better than other dev that use Honey Select 2 as a sources.

I have played a LOT of avns out there and this is one of IF not the best one that I've found out there. There are a few others that are decent, but I don't love them like this one.
"effort? below average" yeah, yap about it if you want considering that he still need to write the storyline and dialogue WITHOUT interfering with the plot that he had in his mind either that can affecting the correlation between the old narration and the future narration that he had in mind, translate it to other language for different audience, managing his social account(patreon, discord, itch.io, twitter, and subscribestar) whether about update, bugs, q&a and any other things, even rendering takes time especially the animation, and let's not forget that he is a human fucking being, he need time on his own... and from his language, i can assume that Caribdis is a solo rather than a team.

Here's another point from me about you complaining about the game, it's fcking fiction, it's always about the writers fantasy, and you just play it FREE.
Aaaand to piss on the previous guys comment.... This game is sooo inventive. It has a plot - sort of. The characters actually look good and the action isn't too over the top and unrealistic. It also has some minor challenges to keep you playing. Pity we have to wait for a follow-up to this. Hope it actually gets created. Sadly I don't do this kinda game creation but I could help out with a plot to keep this as a series. Great work by the Caribdis team. do the follow-up, please. It takes over 6 months to develop each release...
If you choose not to pursue a romance or sex scene it doesn't change the story in any way, in fact the story just assumes it happened anyway and continues on as if it did. This effectively renders any choices you make as a player completely pointless.
The only real choice that matters is getting yourself killed for a game over. I remember a scene at a party in Eternum you go to for Nova, some guy left behind an inheritance for her or something. You can actually get her killed. Of course its meaningless because no one actually loses anything or actually dies, in fact I bet ya Nova still has her Mega Gun even though dying should mean she loses her inventory...
Its not a story... its a collection of porn scenes pretending to be something better than it is, clustered around an idea stolen from 'Ready Player One'.
