This update continues the Courtney and Candi stories, not Melissa and Aubrey.
I didn't get an error but you have to complete the Candi story (at least complete all the new steps in this update) in order to continue Courtney's story.
You have to complete Candi's story to get Courtney's outfit.
just click on sam and you will notice the key
