Its so hard launch v0.1 telling all players if MC is 100% gay? Or if 100% straight? Or if MC is a "little curious"?
Then people invest time (maybe money) in favorite fetish. Without boring crap surprises in "alternative paths" when "MAIN PATH" stopped because no time to create content for all.
And probably if 10% for gay players, even gay players will complain. Or Dev will change to 50% gay / 50% straight and more complains becasue less content each update in straight path.

i hope the constant abuse of the MC (on the evil route) makes the secretary fall madly in love with him,
