Friends in Need (Friends Indeed) sees you stepping into the role of a man who made a very bad financial decision, which nearly resulted in your ruin. Years later, the reverberations of that decision echo once more through your life, suddenly enriching you beyond your wildest imaginings. When your best friend and long-time crush comes to you for help with her own financial misfortune, you realize that with nearly unlimited resources, you can be a force for good - or evil.
Friends Indeed is a game focusing largely on moral choices - good, bad, or a little of both! That means that this game contains some taboo themes and situations. However, it's entirely possible to play a wholly good route, if that's your prerogative! Most relationships in the game are optional, and you typically have every opportunity to avoid sex scenes with specific characters, as well as certain non-vanilla kinks and fetishes.
Friends Indeed is written and coded by NeonGhosts, and the art in the first chapter is by HorizonticalStudio, with NeonGhosts taking over future CG renders.

A very well written visual novel with gripping narrative full of very human conversations. It shows good understanding of human interactions. I enjoyed the sarcastic humor and LOLed a few times, other times I smiled with my teeth. From what I've gathered the author is maybe a bit too intelligent for the audience here, which seem to consist of many of the "Harvey Weinstein" playthroughs, the people that are so often the butt of the jokes in this VN. The only other adult videogame that gave me this amount of enjoyment would be House Party and I'd say the humor's on par at times, though the narrative here has much more weight. The nice guy playthrough really gave me a feeling of playing as myself if I were more handsome and rich, which is a power fantasy I rarely get from video games. The only downside I'd say is the art direction, but it serves it's purpose satisfyingly I'd say... grapgically it's pretty much a telenovela among videogames. The lighting could use more contrast etc.
Part of the fun might have stemmed from the fact, that I've named my character Richard Hancock yet I don't remember a single person ever calling me "Dick", which I found hillarious, as if they are tiptoeing around the all too obvious slur.

So far I've seen only XX trans girl who thinks she is a boy. You can convert her back to normal submissive girl and enslave her or simply refuse to fuck her. The Dev intentionally represented her as weak scared and vulnerable. This probably would not amuse feminists who believe that pants give you strength.
The single "trans" character gives you the choice to say, "lol, no, I'm not participating in your fantasy; you are no boy." And then you act as you wish, including walk away.

Yeah, I haven't had the displeasure of playing Friends Indeed. The link is from subscribestar. I don't pay that douchebag after initially liking the game and paying for it, but versions eventually become free.
