the game is extremely funny. unfortunately the author breaks the saves every update and you have to restart the game from scratch. So I love it, but I don't actually play it.
Try find a dev console cheat file online (that works for every game that doesn't have dev/console blocked) & enable it.
I just edit stats to speed up gameplay for games that don't carry progress between versions, you can break stuff so be careful, but it's better than going back through it at the normal pace. š
