This update doesnāt just add new scenes. A large part of the beginning of the game has been rebuilt from the ground up.
The intro has been rewritten, new events have been added, some missing links in the story have been filled, and several character relationships have been adjusted so everything feels more natural and coherent going forward.
And yes, after all this time, Goodbye Eternity finally has a proper intro scene instead of starting with a black screen. Iāve wanted to fix that for a very long time, so Iām really happy itās finally there.
The biggest part of this update is, of course, the rework of Asamiās Love route.
My goal was simple: make it feel warmer, more sincere, and give Asami the story she deserved from the beginning. Her route is now much longer, more complete, and I think it does a much better job of showing who she really is.
There are new interactions, new scenes, new CGs, new skins, and a lot more moments focused on her relationship with Saito. If you liked Asami before, I really hope this version makes you like her even more.
Because the beginning of the game has changed so much, old saves may cause issues. For the best experience, I strongly recommend starting a new game. I know thatās not always ideal, but with this update, it really is the cleanest way to experience everything properly.
The game is great, but I'd also like to see the MC and Asami actually sleep together.
Really not understanding the hype on some sites about this game. I thought it looked interesting and there are some hot characters and unique art and all that... but there's really nothing here in the early stages that sets it apart from anything else for me. How is it so popular? Not being snarky, genuine Q here.
These days regretion is really popular, there are lots of novels, mangas and manwhas about it even if you already know you are getting something similar to what you have seen before.

I look forward to it. Nice idea so far. Artwork is unique, could be a bit better. Hopefully it won't be a quick game. Let it take time. For instance Asami just got rejected, from her crush, and 2 days later she is head over heels in for the MC. Too quick in my opinion.
How can I meet Minato? He doesn't appear at his house.
Promising. Renders are nice. Writing more than decent. Situations and characters seem normal enough for the kinks to make sense. I'll keep an eye on this one. For now it's still a bit short.
The money-grind mini-clickables might need some tweaking. Some spots are masked by parts of the UI icons (like left portraits)
So far so good, I have high hopes for it. There is a bit of inconsistency with the writing though, nothing major. Still, I hope this doesn't turn into another never-ending project that just milks patreon.
