What do I need to do to get v0.95 to load properly?

I played all the way to v0.93 with some issues along the way. But I always saved at the Save Now screens.

What is the best way to get this game to load properly?  How should I place each part? Same folders, separate? Load patches on each part or latest?

Ok, Its strange that you're going through a problem. I haven't encounter this all that.

Answering your questions.
"How should I place each part?" - Separate folders. Each Part is an individual folder that holds about 5gb of files, The dev separating them. Or else, the game would be a 40 gb large, and download speed will take ages. which means, you should have 6 folders title "Grandma's House," and ending with version number. I believe v16 is where part 1 ends.

Taboo patch - you place it in the 'game folder.' Open Grandma House folder, whichever part, go to 'game' folder, and you copy and paste the taboo patch file on there.
If you download the 'update files' such as v96, when it comes out, then you install over v95. After that, recopy and paste the taboo patch, because it gets deleted every time you install update files.
This could also mean that "not loading properly' could be that it's not reading the previous game's version files.

I see some people in the comments, being confuse over the number of parts this game has.
To be clear, each part continues where the previous part ended. Therefore:
Part 1 ends at v0.16
Part 2 at v0.37
Part 3 at v0.57
Part 4 at v0.68
Part 5 at v0.81
Part 6 is an ongoing part, latest being v0.95.
Each part is its own folder, no need to overwrite it over the previous part, By now, you should have 6 folders. It was separated after nearing the 5gb limit, since many sites had the 5gb limit to download.
How to continue? Dev tells you to save the game by showing a black screen with "SAVE NOW," at the end of each part. Then, you install the next part and load the saved file from "SAVE NOW" of the previous part.
Taboo patch is not essential, only changes relationship titles on certain characters. But if used on Part 1, then it must be use for the next parts. Though make sure to download the right taboo patch for the part.

To add something else, hit the character limit.
When downloading the update patch file, such v0.95 update patch. You install over the previous version, in this case v0.94. If Taboo patch was used, recopy and paste it on the game's folder. Update patch auto removes the taboo patch.

You don't need 93 -95 since they're already in the Part 6 download files, so delete 93 and 94. Unless, you downloaded v0.95 as an update patch file, then you need to download part 6.
When you download part 6, you'll need to install the game/ extract the files.

Right here is where you install the taboo patch file 2. Don't need the taboo patch 1. Extract Taboo patch file 2, and copy and paste the file inside the game folder. Also, this is where you go to add the update files for the next version when it comes out.
You don't need both taboo patches; only one is needed. 1 is only for part 1. 2 is for 2 and the next parts.
