Patch Instructions:
Extract to game directory and overwrite.
Note: You need to play Part 1/2/3/4/5/6 and save exactly when the game tells you to before you can play Part 2/3/4/5/6/7. Same instructions for switching from Part 2 to Part 3, Part 3 to Part 4 and Part 4 to Part 5 and Part 5 to Part 6 and Part 7.
Note: If you're on android, make sure you make the save at the "Save now" screen. Part 2 will overwrite Part 1 when you install it. After that you can just load your save like normal. For PC/Mac, just start the game and load the save. There is also an autosave in case you forgot.

i cant use the auto button/function in all 6 parts can someone help me to fix it pleass?
Can the DEV please fix this issue. With each update it's a chore to get it to load the previous save, if you can at all. š Every time I save I got it working I saved at the Save Now screens. I was able to get v0.93 to load, but neither v0.94 or v0.95 loaded. š
Gotta ask. This has nothing to do with this game. Does anyone remember a game where a guy either won a free vacation or paid for it, got to the island and Noone was there except a woman and her younger sister I believe. The older lady wasn't nice but the younger sister was trying to get to know main character. I can't find it for anything. Plz lmk if anyone remembers the game

NGL, when you mentioned 'a guy either won a free vacation or paid for it,' my first thought was towards Holiday Island. But when you mentioned, "the island has no one but two women,' then Holiday Island is not it.
Can you provide more details about the game, maybe name of characters, the type of powers it has? is a 2d or 3d? was on Ren'Py or RpGm style?
More specific you can get, the more likely we are to get to the name of the game.
Going completely off memory but what I remember is he gets on island and Noone was there then while exploring he saw luggage and that's when he run into the 2 sisters. Older one looked at oldest 21. She also had I think that punkish blueish black hair that goes over one eye. She seems upset most of time but younger sister is interested in you but they were at resort on island with Noone on it. Only played it once then never seen it again. Been like 4 yrs or so

What do I need to do to get v0.95 to load properly?
I played all the way to v0.93 with some issues along the way. But I always saved at the Save Now screens.
What is the best way to get this game to load properly? How should I place each part? Same folders, separate? Load patches on each part or latest?
Ok, Its strange that you're going through a problem. I haven't encounter this all that.
Answering your questions.
"How should I place each part?" - Separate folders. Each Part is an individual folder that holds about 5gb of files, The dev separating them. Or else, the game would be a 40 gb large, and download speed will take ages. which means, you should have 6 folders title "Grandma's House," and ending with version number. I believe v16 is where part 1 ends.
Taboo patch - you place it in the 'game folder.' Open Grandma House folder, whichever part, go to 'game' folder, and you copy and paste the taboo patch file on there.
If you download the 'update files' such as v96, when it comes out, then you install over v95. After that, recopy and paste the taboo patch, because it gets deleted every time you install update files.
This could also mean that "not loading properly' could be that it's not reading the previous game's version files.

Will this fix my loading issue?
How is it that you didn't experience a problem earlier in the first parts? And, why now? Honestly, it's very strange.
How do you play other avn games?
Many will say that you're trolling online for attention. But if you say this is a true problem for you. Then I hope you find the solution soon.
Playing these games is very easy and simple.
Download and extract. Next, play the game. Want to add a taboo patch? Just download and extract taboo patch 2. Then, copy and paste the file inside the "Game' folder, inside Grandma's house folder.
For some reason I have loading problems with this and a couple other games. It doesn't happen often. But it gets frustrating when it works fine for several updates, then it doesn't.
I always saved at the proper screens. To make sure I also saved in each section: Qsave, Asave, Save. So my previous saves should have no reason not to load. Yes, I already checked to see if each save worked to load, before asking for help.
My last save was for v0.93. When I tried to load it in either v0.94 or v0.95 I either get a black screen or it goes back the the menu page. Only way out is to shut down the game.
Did you use the taboo patch when you played v0.93? If you did, and updated the v0.93 to v0.94. The update removes the taboo patch, so you have to install it again in the game folder under Grandma's house folder.
I had this problem back in part 3. I thought I could continue without it, but I couldn't. So, I downloaded the one appropriate for part 3. Problem solved, I was able to continue, avoiding a complete restart.
Have you tried this before?
Also, don't save when the dev tells you. What I do is I save before the 'save now' screen, a render before that. The only time I do save is on "save now" when it's the end of a part.
I've used the taboo patch(es) from the very start. Which each update, I'd use the latest taboo patch(es) for that part.
I used the new update v0.94, not the v0.93 to v0.94. Would I have better luck using the v0.93 to v0.94 instead?
As for the taboo patches, I always install them in the "game" folder.
As for the "save now", I always go back the the previous screen to save, It's worked fine when I loaded the saves in the next updates about 70-80% of the time.

update after setting up a route folder for GH, sub folders for each update, added the patches (1st for first, 2nd for the rest), my save loaded. š Hopefully this continues to work.
I see some people in the comments, being confuse over the number of parts this game has.
To be clear, each part continues where the previous part ended. Therefore:
Part 1 ends at v0.16
Part 2 at v0.37
Part 3 at v0.57
Part 4 at v0.68
Part 5 at v0.81
Part 6 is an ongoing part, latest being v0.95.
Each part is its own folder, no need to overwrite it over the previous part, By now, you should have 6 folders. It was separated after nearing the 5gb limit, since many sites had the 5gb limit to download.
How to continue? Dev tells you to save the game by showing a black screen with "SAVE NOW," at the end of each part. Then, you install the next part and load the saved file from "SAVE NOW" of the previous part.
Taboo patch is not essential, only changes relationship titles on certain characters. But if used on Part 1, then it must be use for the next parts. Though make sure to download the right taboo patch for the part.
To add something else, hit the character limit.
When downloading the update patch file, such v0.95 update patch. You install over the previous version, in this case v0.94. If Taboo patch was used, recopy and paste it on the game's folder. Update patch auto removes the taboo patch.
One way is better, just don't download crap games like this one, problem solved.

You don't need 93 -95 since they're already in the Part 6 download files, so delete 93 and 94. Unless, you downloaded v0.95 as an update patch file, then you need to download part 6.
When you download part 6, you'll need to install the game/ extract the files.

Right here is where you install the taboo patch file 2. Don't need the taboo patch 1. Extract Taboo patch file 2, and copy and paste the file inside the game folder. Also, this is where you go to add the update files for the next version when it comes out.
You don't need both taboo patches; only one is needed. 1 is only for part 1. 2 is for 2 and the next parts.

Gave up on this as it drags out and the File Size is too big for the Story. Not to mention I bailed on this one as a few updates ago it did not allow my previous Saves. There is a point where a project even with all the hard work, drags on and seems to never end and grows beyond the limit that want to see the end of the story. I get you want to make money doing this and you may, but one major reason you don't get more is none of these projects last to completion without major sacrifice in Quality. Nice long Run, but overall Failed.
I'm sorry to hear that this game has disappointed you and that you're experiencing issues with the previous saves. Grandma's House is not a 'never-ending' project is already near its end. If Quality is something that pushed you away, then I have one thing to say to you. If Moonbox tries to increase the quality or even add animations, the game will become significantly larger in file size. and re-release the updates all over again.
