Installation:
Extract and run.
If you play on older Operating Systems like Windows 7, Microsoft c++ Redistributable 2015 needs to be installed.
For Android:
The game is split into chapters for Android because of the 2gb limit. Only one can be installed at the same time, but save games are compatible between chapters.
For Mac: If you get the "The app HailDicktator is damaged and can't be run." error, there is the following workaround, until I can find another way to fix it:
1. After downloading the game. Extract the app using "The Unarchiver" (the default unzip program of mac might mess up permissions)
2. Open Terminal. (go to Applications -> Utils -> Terminal)
3. Type "xattr -cr Downloads/HailDicktator_x.x.x_macOS/HailDicktator.app" (without quotes. Replace _x.x.x with the name of the folder, you can also use tab to autocomplete)
4. Press enter, and there shouldn't be any error or other message. After that, you can play the game as normal.
Other Information:
Use the mouse wheel to roll back/forward.
More punishment/reward options will be added with upcoming updates.
Cheat:
Type into the cheat bar in the hotel management panel (without quotes) (press the hotel button).
* "money" (gives max money)
* "ruinme" (0 money)
* "giveXk" (replace X with pos. or neg. number to add X times 1000 G)
* "maxallstats" (sets all stats of the girls to current maximum. known bug: also sets money to 0, but you can use the money cheats after)

I am new to Linux (1st day actually). I installed a virtual machine running Ubuntu. I downloaded the Linux version of this game and extracted the zip. I navigated to the directory containing the file HailDicktator.x86_64 . Unfortunately, try as I might, any attempt to run this file does nothing. Not even an error message. From the command prop I tried as well but nothing. Thoughts?

i only download the games for windows, never had problems to run them.

If a DEV introduces SUB-chapter updates like "v0.22.2", you know they only want to milk their patrons for all they're worth. That's why only give money to developers who actually got their earlier games FINISHED.
The last update was 0.21.2, this one is 0.22.2. How the hell is frequent updates milking the Patreons? The devs aren't getting paid by the update, anyway.
These devs have put out updates consistently for over a year now. If anything, patreons get their money worth.

Last time I checked the "V0.22.2" and such updates stood for version 22 bug fix 2. I'm pretty sure it's a GOOD thing when developers fix the broken things?

Freakin' awesome... Story is great, characters aren't one dimensional, but complex, some animation is there, and that could be improved, very choppy right now, kept me on the edge of my seat for quite a while. This is right up there with the best on the site... 5 stars
