if you think this is grind is because you just want to see images and read story
the amount of money you earn per day goes up and down according to the tasks you do.
you could be earning 15 per day if you do nothing or you could earn +900 per day
It's not really that difficult to make enough money, without having to resort to cheats

So Alice gets kidnapped by the mysterious lady who steels the food from the kitchen yet Alice is still available to do cooking tests in the kitchen. Surely if she's been kidnapped that's got to be a slight flaw in the game
