The moment any of these dev's give any fun the ability to milk people for money is over lol
not entirely true, look at games like summertime saga, they've given tons of fun. that dev just knows that you have to keep hinting at new fun with new characters just introduced, or that have been there from the start and waiting on their path to be advanced. People are happy, and in anticipation of what the next patch will bring. this game is just trash. I Wish Patreon had a better way to Flag these greedy devs, have them booted to smarten up and stop taking advantage of the broken system.

Minka is a character i dont care about, the idea is progress the other two the MC is living with already. And the update of 4 events are really 2 events Meeting her in the Library at night, giving her money for her dog and going to her place to meet the Dog all better and thats it. Too many of these characters have not progression that makes sense in the Grind. Rose blew the MC and now nothing else..Update the story man. The level of progress is stuck for each female character, Level Up.
i would probably add a "things to do" checklist (when done it appears checked) as many games in this style do. Because wandering around forever for no reason is time consuming and with no rewards... And i agree with you he better center himself on the girl leaving with MC than too many caracters
To Do List is a good idea for most of these projects. Most of these as well develop too many characters to keep up with and it only adds too much to keep the fans happy with less than regular updates. I would say MC and three points of interest is more than enough.
