Where to get save files
When the Developer is so cheap they would rather kill one platform than spend the $50-100/month on a dedicated server so their game can be updated instead of redownload the entire thing.
When the Developer is making thousands, maybe tens of thousands, and is still too cheap.
Ture fact, Develioers, it takes far less time for people to download an update, rather than the entire file, and it means less chance of corruption or errors, and it also means you aren't limited by file sizes...
actually theyre adding to the game so itd take more time to go thru all the files to find the new ones rather than just uploading the whole thing, and really its not that big of a deal, youre making a mountain out of a mole hill, everything you have stated are entirely unnecessary, this game updates like every 6 months or so, so wasting money on a server that is maybe gonna see usage 2-5 times a year at best is stupid

I tried to leave a link earlier but it seems the moderators were not a fan. I would recommend going to their Itch.io page. I'm not sure if the links are to the EXACT same version (non-patreon, I guess?) but it's not through Mega. So, if the download limit is your only quarrel, I would check it out. You could also check out their Patreon for additional links to whichever host you fancy.

you dont need to pay, when quota is reached just wait and itll resume after a time (4 hrs i think), i dont mind waiting as mega is the best download source, i havent seen any that reach 4-8 mbs beyond mega, some may reach 800 kbs but thats it and some will top out at 128 kbs which is shit, hell when i reach the quota i just turn on one of my consoles or watch a few movies on my computer while i wait, its not that big a deal, they could up the quota to 10 gb in my opinion
