The Visual Overhaul Update has officially arrived for everyone!
This is, without question, the largest update Harvesting Corruption has ever received.
Over the past several weeks I've gone back through virtually the entire game and rebuilt almost everything from the ground up. This update wasn't about adding another day of story. It was about making every moment of the existing game look dramatically better before moving forward.
Nearly every single image in the game has been completely remade. Every major menu and UI element has been redesigned, the phone interface has been rebuilt from scratch, stores have been overhauled, higher quality videos have replaced older versions, new music and ambient sound have been added throughout the game, and countless bugs have been fixed along the way.
This Public Release also introduces three brand new collectible magazines hidden throughout the world for players to discover, adding another layer to the game's growing collection system.
This update establishes the new visual standard that all future content will be built upon, including the upcoming Day 5 update.
Major Improvements

ā¢ Added Lilly's braces to the few images where they were missing.
ā¢ Fixed missing backside waitress sprites for Annika.
ā¢ Fixed an exploit that allowed players to fill the bar with patrons by repeatedly using the turn-around button without spending turns.
ā¢ Completely remade all of Annika's waitress facial expressions to match the new visual quality standard.
ā¢ Annika now properly reacts with the correct facial expressions when groped or when clothing is removed during the Thirst Trap waitress job.
ā¢ Fixed the Vampire Booblehead crash in Maggie's office.
ā¢ Added a dedicated talking portrait for the BASSment bartender.
ā¢ Moved one Booblehead collectible to a better location in the Trailer Park.
ā¢ Fixed a Day 4 issue that allowed players to clean the house and accidentally skip important early morning story events.
ā¢ Improved the flashlight hint dialogue to make it much clearer where players should look.
ā¢ Removed the redundant Elliot "Cum" and "Mayo" images, as they are already included in the accompanying video.
ā¢ Expanded Carter's Day 4 conversation with additional dialogue.
ā¢ Corrected various grammar and spelling issues throughout the game.
ā¢ Improved Maggie's appearance in several images that didn't meet the new visual quality standard.

Sandbox, you can keep it.
1) The Point and Click and Sandbox tags mean the game will be frustrating.
2) The dev replying to every comment in here with pretty much identical responses when they're not getting combative is an interesting promotional 'choice'.

Of course we judge off tags. That is what they are there for. I for one will never try another rpg/sandbox game again. Sucks because it looks good, but I already know I will hate the mechanics.
That's a shame. I was going to make fun of you for saying that but honestly, it's a shame. You're screwing yourself over. There's some AWESOME sandboxes out there.
Mine doesn't do Navigation as well as I'd like yet, I'm still working on the BEST way, but it doesn't detract from the game. You won't hate the mechanics. I assure you. I do things in mine that no other adult VN has done before. And that's a promise. But you do you.
I personally, would never look at a game and think "This looks good", and then see that it has "crafting" so I don't play it. lol. I don't limit myself by tags and titles. I play what's good.
I'll give it a try then. One of my favourite games is Desert Stalker. That is tagged as a rpg/sandbox. No idea why it has an rpg tag, but the sandbox is just to click on different events for separate storylines. None of that timed event crap, day/night cycle, item management, or grind of any kind. If this game is like that, then I probably will like it. I normally don't even try, because almost every game with a rpg/sandbox tag is exactly like what I just described that I hate about an adult game.

Well, to be clear, this is more like an old 90's Point and Click Adventure game than anything else. There IS a day night cycle, but you get different events based on Time of Day. It's a game you need to go into expecting to take it slow and explore everything. Don't try to rush it or you'll have a bad time. It's not a linear porn game. It's a VERY deep game... You'll also need to listen to people so you know what to do..
So, I tried it. Just not for me. Once I am in the sandbox, it takes me out of the story, because I have to keep clicking around to get to the next bit. You should try Desert Stalkers style. You just click on locations that are tied to different story paths. Desert Stalker is one of the only sandbox games that is not only popular for a sandbox game, but a sandbox game I like as well. Anyway, because I hate any kind of grind, I coded a program a while ago that let's me easily extract all images and videos from these games. After scanning through 3903 images and 89 videos I can tell there isn't much at all to be seen. Mostly same scenes with different outfits. I get it is still early in development and it is not a horrible game or anything. I just don't like the sandbox mechanics. Never will. It's takes you out of the story too much. Just my thoughts on it.
I want to be clear though. Character models are good and the story isn't bad from what I did see. I can code, but I have never tried graphic design. I'd image it is a lot of work. So, great job there. Minus the Ai vids though. Not sure which Ai model you are using, but it takes away from your game. Some Ai models can be good, just not the one you are using. Your art is much better. To anyone reading this that likes or doesn't mind sandbox games, you might like this game. So, it is worth a try if that is your thing.
Just a heads up to the dev, yes i use tags and these are why i avoid games..Sandbox, Urination, Teasing and zero actual sex tags.. I instantly know i wont enjoy a game..
At least you avoided NTR, Futa and Gay.. So i give you a plus on that.
