I think the visuals are rough, but the characters feels natural like how a human being would act... If the visuals are improved and more content is added.... I think it will easily compete with other games of similar story type...
The dev reworked the visuals, recreating every single scene in the VN... I hated the visuals of v0.1 but after the reworked visuals update it became one of my fav avns on the site
