No, heās not gone nor the game is abandoned. Heās just really busy with life, ever since the haters shut down his patreon. He has a job now and has to do pay rent and food. Heās is still working on the game. Last time he said something was back in November last year, he said that the progress for Ch 10 is going well and he got a job. Nobody is talking rubbish. Check f 95 zone for the actual details and the truth. Xenorav came in one day, last week and said that. Heās not alone he has support from other developers too. They together has round up a couple of lawyers. No one mentioned about ads or subscribers. The problem is that Xenorav didnāt advertise his Subscribestar or Boosty in his game, only his Patreon. You can check it yourself. Download the game, go to About in the Main menu, youāll see a link to his Patreon but no Sub or Boosty.
