Can someone help me? I don't understand if I'm doing something wrong. I think I'm at day 5 now but up until now there hasn't been any events. All it's been is me running around talking and kissing girls to raise their stats. Am I just not at the events yet or are those bugs just preventing the event
I haven't even seem girls like Desire and Alice... Someone help please!

First of all, keep going. It takes more than 5 days. At least 50 or so from what I remember for all the day related events to I'll by.
Second, USE THE CHEATS. The developer himself recommends this due to the insane amount of grinding otherwise. (Continued below)
Unless you really feel like you have to get on he girl's good side, use the cheats.
Lastly, use the phone. You can look at each girls events and whatnot for clues (recommended by developer, regardless of whether or not you use cheats)
you can invite and swap out girls later on. Just keep moving.
