I find myself in a very awkward position where I like the game... yet I can't force myself to play it.
It is too much of a chore.
The world is a maze of featureless grey boxes.
When you enter one, you get a description that basically amounts to "this is a forest" or "this is a corridor in an inn".
Usually it is utterly meaningless text that describes the environment that pads the game and you should ignore.
This is bad because it gets you used to ignoring said text, so you miss out on actually meaningful content.
Occasionally the maze has an icon instead of a grey featureless box.
Like a generic "person" icon to indicate an NPC is there. But it really should have been done better.
The maze is also way too large. it takes way too many clicks to get anywhere. Dev heard us and added some fast travel... ish... which is like trying to put a small bandage over a missing arm. way too little to solve the problem. Yea, taking 50 clicks to get somewhere instead of 200 clicks is technically an improvement.
