I'm no programmer, but wouldn't be easier and more efficient if the dev completed all of the game's mechanics first and then implement each girl one at a time, rather than scatter-build everything simultaneously?

Just saying, cuz none of the girls' stories are finished as far as I can tell, and there are like 9 girls with 7 more in the future. Essentially that means the dev has to update each girl every time new content and game mechanics are implemented. Seems like more work than necessary to me.

Because completed game mechanics is equivalent to make a fresh 1.0.0 version game. And that is time consuming specially every good idea from people comes in and out, that way its better to implement minimal yet crucial UI or mechanic first then continue later on.

And as far as i know, a finished Game is should be and would be a the end for every Game. That is why its needed to hook player with bunch of new interesting things before the ending. Well more work more money.
