But disregarding my personal preferences... anything not RPGM, not a sandbox, doesn't need hunt-and-click to progress, doesn't switch fetishes drastically after you're half-way through, isn't v.01 abandonware, isn't milked with slow/delayed small 'updates', isn't full of coding errors, and ideally with a writer who knows how to build tension and knows when it's time to wrap up the story should count as top-tier for its audience.
