User account system is currently in public beta testing phase. Bugs, inconsistencies and features not working as intended are to be expected.
The game is old. Like pre-incest-ban-patreon old.
At first the dev removed incest, no "landlady" renaming, story didn't make sense even with i-patch.
He also added some cheat protection. Both combined lost him a lot of interest in the community.
Then he remade all of the game, which was good for the gameplay.
Problem was that he removed all the sex as well. Now he adds like 1-2 scenes back with every update. Scenes people have already seen years ago.
So the game gets a lot of hate.
Most of the content is "Under construction", including stuff that used to work fine over a year ago. Plus constant "Exception occured" messages, making the game largely unplayable.

His internet is fine. Some of the dl sites are real shit. like anon files which gives me 20 kbps while mega gives me 5 mbps

Also people need to switch from patreon already. In fact ALL companies and products that try and control you. The usual suspects.
itch.io doesn't seem to have any censorship.
But there is no subscription model, which is bad for authors who want to milk oblivious users for years. And the users don't like having to buy the same product again for every update.
