You forgot the most important part. You do this because doors are immune to fireballs. (unlike demons)
It's even broken when starting a new game.

Outdated versions were so good, so many contents were there. Too bad I can't find it on internet.

I lost hope for this game now. It went from ok. playable to okay maybe will become good to absolute bs
Useless bastard dev removed the stun or clothing damage spell. Made the stupid door to the witch x2 health or so. You can't break it easily anymore. Now you can't train Jessica. Everything you do makes her hate you and lose obedience.
