First y have to show yourself to mended than run to the east tower there is classroom go to the classroom and get out from the other door of classroom then after getting out from the other door there is pin look on the wall u have to lock the door then mendel will prisoned.

Stuck at 53% have the grappling hook, how do I get the rope? Mendel still locked in his room, says I shouldn't unlock it
Same problem I had until somebody kindly helped me out. Rope is in room #9 but you have to disable the laser to get in. Turn on all radiators to disable laser. Awesome game though. Author is a great storyteller.
The rope is in east tower where u find squirrel and hook outside near the bridge in the wall y have to search near the water bridge in th e wall

I have the same progress statistics and can't progress further. There is an area in the forest can't access yet. There is one kamasutra page in the locker before you go to the basement, down the staircase, you can't get it based on the choice you make earlier in the game. I think it was Kathrine's.
