It must be so nice to be YOU. YOU get to set the rules and everyone must follow YOUR conventions. People doing things their own way is unnacceptable to YOU. Or perhaps I am mistaken.. do YOU represent some kind of International game naming commission? Is this set up by the UN? Were YOU appointed by the Secretary General?
actually from a software development pov the guy is right and you're wrong. If everybody just starting defining version numbers any way they please, versioning would have no meaning
