Yeap, It's a problem with the engine version. I fixed it by downloading the stable version. Amateur mistake. The next update will be better optimized.

I have no idea how to get out of the room at the beginning of the game. I've opened the window and grabbed the sheets from the closet to make a rope, but it still says "I can't jump from here" or something like that. I've hit every key on my keyboard looking for any kind of menu or inventory, but can't find one. Plz help.
The inventory is at the top of the screen. Move the mouse to the top of the screen and it will pop up.
