The game Making Movies is a Business Sim / Visual Novel about running a porn company, finding love and getting even. Meet pretty girls, convince them to do porn, profit. Sounds simple.
After a nasty divorce you're left with only one option to pay rent; making porn movies. But what started out as a necessity soon becomes your dream job; who knew there were so many hot girls around interested in becoming a star?

It's sad to see such potential games getting dropped. That too so soon.
This is a nice story with good handling and only one fault: The action concentrates only at the start and at the end - with a huge gap between until the play has been grinding up stats, no porn, no interactions, simply destroying continuation. Who keeps at grinding is treated with a sudden rush of scenes to the end. With a few more events in the middle "Making Movies" could have been a top game.

This is the final version. Final does not always mean the same as completed, but in this case it's the same.
The story is complete, I guess that it's simply not gonna include some features originally planned. For instance the style skill does nothing what-so-ever.

Any game that has that many overly complicated interactions in it, should have a longer/more content to it. Most of the girls you only ever do just like 1 movie with them which is quite disappointing.
I know there is a walkthrough, but any game that is a sandbox type should have a built in guide system. Which this game doesn't.
Sex scenes and art are decent, though with more content they could have included more kinks and fetishes to it, which sadly they didn't.
The part that annoys me the most is that the mc is kinda of a moron. Would have liked it better after all those improvements you did to him, he became more dominant and masculine but nope, it's like the upgrades and books don't even bother. Not a fan in the way he just let's most of the women run all over him.
There is also no revenge option against the mc's ex which is another disappointment. All in all, it's not really that great a game. 4/10
