Is this the same person that was responsible for developing a great game called as "Dreams of Desire" in 2017? Because his 2020 game is shitty, both story wise / content wise and UI wise. Rendering quality is being improved upon, however it's because of the new tools with better options available nowadays.

Quality 1st, I believe. As it is true what you say for a bunch of develpers, Midnight Paradise is an excellent game with regular updates ever since. Story, CG and animations are top-notch, at least compared to others. Sure there are devs who earn a fortune but their output is meager - that can only work if Patreons are willing to pay. If they want to waste their money, well that's their trouble.
Another IDIOT who prefers animations and CGs before content and a good story. Ja MP does not have a first-rate story or comes close, another detail is the time 1 year and a half and there is no sex scene. It is no use having good animations and renders if the sexual content and the stories are poor. It is like any game even if it has excellent graphics but its content and story is poor, most of you will not like it.
Maybe you should try the walkthrough or even better, the game-included phone, it shows what to do next for progression. Can't complain about grinding or lack of progression.
