He just posted an update on his patreon. TLDR is he's burned out. He will instead release two big updates .9 and 1.0. No clear indication if .7 and .8 will be in the .9 update.
After that he will be done MC and move on to another project. He gets tired of working on the same thing past 4 or 5 updates so he will begin releasing games in episodes.
