Dev's Patreon claims he's releasing "v1.0" sometime this year, which would mean it's either going back 5 releases, or skipping 3? No idea which, or if it'll even be released, but fingers crossed something comes out. This game is/was one of the best on here, before it went stagnant for so long.
Version 1.0 implies a completed game. which probably indicates that there are only one or two more planned installments. Alternatively, ICSTOR might be overly optimistic.

After releasing v0.5 my man took a year break (at first he said 6 months), then he released v0.6 somehow and after that, he just vanished for a whole 2020. There are many developers who don't have even 500 patrons and still work hard every day dedicating only for our entertainment.

He said last year that he was experiencing health problems. Anything like that can suck the creativity out of you completely. When I had broken ribs I lost all ability to do anything creative. For six weeks it was a struggle to find the energy even to read, let alone write.
