because it's a good game and lots of people got mad with the dev because he abandoned the game and is constantly making excuses on the patreon.

I'm one of those who accept it as a brilliant game, and I really hope ICSTOR gets off his ass and finishes it. But I'm not giving him a cent until the game is finished because there's no way I'm throwing my hard-earned money in the garbage.
ICSTOR is the reason we don't trust him, and ICSTOR will have to earn our trust back. However, none of that means it isn't one of the best games out there.

Strictly speaking, no I'm not. I suspect that he really ran into financial and/or health problems back in the winter or spring of 2020. Since then he may have been working on it part-time, or have run into writer's block. The cure, though, is for him to get off his ass and back to work.
That said, we don't know what the problem is. If he's fighting cancer, then none of this is his fault.
We simply don't know, and perhaps we never will. At this point our rage is hurting us more than him.
