Whenever I try to go to the Malibu University in the early phase, I get stuck whenever I click on the gadgets. Can anybody please help me here?

Great game so far. I've played orange trainer and i like it veery much. However I think this one has much more potential. Cannot wait to see it finished!
There seems to be some glitch that is not allowing me to access a certain part of the school and I don't know how to fix it.
