why the hell can I not save. Autosave does not seem to work and not a normal save button anywhere that I can find.
At first I wasn't too sure about this game, But patience worked out. I added the cheat mode to help with some of the initial grind and Now at the last guest's "THIS MAY BE THE BEST GAME I'VE RUN ACROSS". Very glad to have tried it out, I hope it never ends. P.s been playing thease games for some 15 years.
Cannot figure out why this game is rated so highly. If you need a cheat engine to even begin getting in to the game, it's a bad game.
The grind is obscene, and the chances you'll die for no reason other than luck is quite high. At the beginning of the game, you can barely even fight one or two goblins with the basic dagger you're given for finding the smith's dog, and if you're unlucky enough for two to spawn in the same encounter, you lose. That dead body you see that you've harvested for free goblin ears 2 minutes ago? Well this time you examine it is an encounter with an enemy you cannot hope to defeat at level 3 with no equipment.
The early game offers no direction. It's fine if the game becomes more like that, doing whatever you want, etc, but when the early game faces the above issues when you're just trying to earn enough money to buy basic gear, there's a problem.
The high rating has to either be botted, or almost exclusively by cheaters playing just for the porn.
Because it's either that, or you literally spend your first weeks in the game avoiding all combat, working at the smith until you can buy a full equipment load, it should go without saying how obscenely disgusting an expectation like that is.
I would suggest you run away until you have built up your levels, Everything can be sold including collected items. There is a quest section which tells you what to do. As well as you get a notification when new quests come available. I also bought a dog early on to help in fights he's a great asset. perhaps I paid attention to what was written and available to build up my character "Great game"
You mean the dog with almost zero HP that deals about 6 damage per hit and is lucky to survive 1 blow vs anything tougher than the base level goblins even after buying it's harness and collar? That useless mutt? At best it's a meat shield for 1 turn, at worst it's an MP drain that's better spent on the player character. Sure, it's 'useful' if you want it dying every fight just to take one hit for you, because that's all it will do considering it gets next to zero stats per level up other than 1 meagre hit point.
You have no idea what you're talking about. Yeah, you can read, but you have no critical thinking skills to be able to determine anything's quality or use, clearly.
Hahahha. Perhaps you should check My Dogs stats " Level 26" before getting insulting because someone disagrees with your opinion. I am Truly glad I was raised better. And my critical thinking skills tell me "I'd be wasting my time retorting to Your ignorance. But by all means feel free to go pout in a corner. As you obviously don't understand that all allies levels have to be raised. I at times put the MC behind 4 goblins just to raise their stats now level 7 and 8. Sadly I'm guessing my goblins stats are higher than your MC. I'm guessing you'll go off on another rant rather than teach yourself how to play the game. Now isn't all that much better than lowering myself by calling you an a-hole or something along those lines which clearly you could relate to?
My Dog or "Useless mutt or meat shield as you called it" Would take down your MC. As I actually took the time to build the dog up and fed him during fights. I hope to God you don't have any animals You'd probably just suspect them to fend for themself. Suddenly he thinks..."Ohhh I have to build up all the characters." Unlike you my "Thinking skills. Enabled me to have a dog that can defeat a goblin or boar by himself. And with the dog, I can freely take down anything the game throws my way. Did you even try to use spells or potions? Clearly You didn't so anything but hit attack during any battles. Or you wouldn't be here whining and crying over your game choices.
What I find even more amusing is. You lost to the easiest enemy in the game and think you'll have any luck attacking me? That just screams "Psychopath" to me. And clearly down the road of your life. Their will be a "Room in a ward or a jail cell awaiting you."
I notice you failed to mention the dog has immortality. So it may get knocked out early on in the game as do all the characters until you the player builds up their "Stats" "Wiki definition listed above" As to Level 3..Are you serious? The game goes from 0 to 99 You have barely begun to increase your abilities. I've also noticed no mention of potions or much else. There is an energy potion..."Big surprise to you " You can stay awake for days without sleep using them. Never mind, Just go through life patting yourself on the back and attacking those who have a different opinion. And stay as ignorant and childish as you have shown here. As I realize, I'm wasting my time trying to educate you. Clearly your parents should have spanked you much more.
No Mommy's not there to hold your hand this time, You left the family farm remember?...Do you have any ability to figure things for yourself?. That is the point to the game after all. Wahh.. I lost to the goblins...when anyone else reads all this and understands a goblin is about the lowest rated Creature you will face in the game. Their attack rating is 35 if they have armor it's 40. I think you should have built up your abilities added potions etc. Before going into attack mode of the game, Developer, Random commenter. But I see you desire to continually Humiliate yourself.
I'm guessing the fact of showing up in a new town. Broke, Homeless, etc. and having to work your way up in life wouldn't appeal to the silver spoon folks. Gotta start somewhere.
