Portals of PhereonĀ is anĀ exploration/ management/ breeding / turnbased (on tilemaps) strategy gameĀ withĀ Monstergirls,Ā made in Unity
Core Gameplay:
- Explore randomly generated portals to get stronger/recruit new characters/obtain loot etc.
- Fuse/Breed your new characters into specialized hybrids and combine their traits
- Train and use your characters in various ways (battles,brothel,farm...)
- Build the best team you can to prepare for story missions
Main Characters:
3 main characters (futa,female,male) with unique gameplay mechanics/skilltrees/theme/goals.
The 2 characters you don't choose will be your enemies in story encounters
Evolution: Gather new genetic material and evolve into different species. Can also change bodyparts separately (e.g. mermaid body with wings and tentacle arms...). Adapt other characters
Creation: Gather new genetic material and spawn new species
Druid: summon evolvable plant creatures. choose among multiple training paths
Other characters/species:
Characters have a lot of unique skills/genetic traits/passives etc. which rewards creativity in fusing/breeding them for your perfect team

- ALL possible combinations of basespecies as hybrids

Exploration:
Go through randomly generated Portals, discovering/ recruiting new Species, finding interesting items/ events etc. and bring your rewards back home.
Portals may be more or less appealing/accessible based on their modifiers which will be compensated in their rewards.
The overworld map is also tile based.
Combat:
Turn based on a tile map. Characters have a lot of unique abilities, passives based on species. First all your characters act then all enemy characters. To make permadeath/injuries in this system not too frustrating, ranged abilities are very limited so enemies couldnt just focus all their attacks on one of your characters, instantly killing it. Instead characters are able to seduce others from far away, increasing their lust.
While their lust is above 50% they get a lot worse (take double dmg, deal half etc.), so "ranged" characters still have a big influence on the game while not feeling too unfair. At 100% lust characters cant do anything except masturbate/fuck, effectively stunning them for a round.
mana and hp never regen naturally and the gametime passes during combat, making every single battle important, forcing you to think about how you want to prioritize your resources (hp, mana, time, characters, etc.). (I always hate completely meaningless filler battles in games).
Breeding/Fusing:
Breed/Fuse your characters' traits/stats to create a team tailored to your playstyle and/or portal environments or to prepare for certain fights/fullfill requests etc.
Town Activities:
- fight in the arena
- train your characters/your sexskills
- build and staff the brothel in various ways
- perform shows to recruit characters attracted based on your brothels demographic
- use collected resources to build upgrades
- date/recruit the town npcs
Other Features Include:
- Gallery for events/ list of characters
- Camping during expeditions to perform various tasks
- Morale system giving bonuses/maluses to stats. Changes based on personality
- Rare biomes to discover
- Hard but rewarding bossfights
- Cheats
- Import/Export teams (fight against other savefiles etc.)
- Achievements (Every one unlocks new stuff for future playthroughs)
- Various ways to modify difficulty
- New game+ (infinitely scaling difficulty, raising caps for most things)

Challenges:
added 25 special standardized challenges with specific starting conditions.
Access from startmenu. Certain challenge ranks/uniques are required to unlock more.
Each challenge unlocks a special genetic starting trait. (from existing pool)
Also added some normal difficulty mods and special modifiers for custom standard.

Added some new seduce/sex/service popups.
Added page for genetic traits in journal achievements.
Characters gain exp per basic attack equal to level difference to enemy. (in additional to normal end of combat exp)
Expanded tooltip of fuck action to show exact recruitment chances for adjacent characters.
Bugfixes:
events in Avy's world could overwrite eachother (could prevent new unique from ever appearing)
some gallery entries couldn't be unlocked.
reserving and consistent couldn't be unlocked.
the effect that destroys half of dropped enemy items at CR 19+ was already active at 1+.
Collective trait caused some Overworld party issues after changing mc.
some strong uniques had default costs in custom standard selection.

does anyone know the cheats for this game? its really difficult to figure out what exactly u need to do in it (an hr in and i still have no idea what the hell im doing, lol)
i gave up, theres no way to figure anything out in this game, u just aimlessly do shit and oh hey how the fuck does combat work....oh damn i died in the first battle wtf.....and then HEY all my moneys gone, im losing it faster then i can make it, yeah not for me, game is poorly done in regards to
what u need to do when starting it (no instructions really its all very minimalistic in regards to how complex the game mechanics actually are, theyre more complex then meets the eye), and money is basically impossible to earn, ur daily upkeep is always more then u can earn each day so u end up in
debt after only a couple of days, two thumbs way way down for me, and if ur a supporter of this then ur an idiot, there are far better devs to give ur money to who actually know how to make a game.
it's actually one of my favorite lewd games and i really feel it could prosper without the sex side of it, if you are having trouble collecting money all you need to do is go to a portal (which you can enter anytime even when in debt) and just look for gold chest literally everywhere on the map.
except most battle will result in a game over, combat is very unbalanced in this game, shoulda just been a basic farm simulator like breeders of the nephylm
Screenshot is probably from earlier version and doesn't do this game justice. It is kinda like hybrid between Breeding Season and Brothel sim. If you don't enjoy these kind of games, skip it.
It is kinda hard on first try but there is incredible amount of gameplay to discover.
Play as female and adjust difficulty to free play. This way you can just ignore quests and do what you like. 3 main characters make entirely different gameplay. Combat is very strategic so don't expect to win before beefing up your crew.
I also recommend staying out of portals until you get your home in order. (money, food) You can fish for wood & stone to upgrade your home. Kinda weird but I like it. Overall this is best Unity game in it's class. Very nice, uniform art. Unhappy comments below are probly from early beta...
And don't lose during Arena training you will lose your items like sword...
yeah but you enter a portal sometimes do some battles and go back to the portal to get home an it says the portals closed leaving no choice to use the exit by the main menu option destroying all your team and everything you worked for to get . i even had a Teleport Stone but there was no option anywhere to use it and even using that you only get to keep what you and your team have equipped . i know the game needs work but that right there kind of kills it for me .
really no point of spending hours building a team only to lose them from something like that . i mean i can understand them being killed off in battle that is fine but having no option to get back home after being in battle just to lose everything yeah that needs to be rethought .. other than that the game is solid and a fun play
This game looks very good and I'm sure I'd love it, but it is waaay too complex to understand without a tutorial or walkthrough of how the game functions. There's just no way to figure the game out, except beating your forehead against it for hours, which no one would want.
The a lot of potential here for a great game. But it needs a lot more playtesting to be more than just frustrating. The difficulty of battles is entirely to random. Most of the portals seem to require your entire team to be mermaids, and if you try to explore yourself you will get killed making the entire trip for naught. Also, I find the penalty for spending to long in the portals excessive, nearly bankrupting me every time I spend a few minutes over. Current build is unwinnable.
how do you open it wont work for me
If you took out the battles completely, this would be a decent explore, fuck, make new species game. Spore with fucking. With the stupid quests the King gives you, and the random battles that wipe you out constantly, its just a chorefest. I played this over a year ago and it was a much better game. Now, i tried it 4 or 5 times and it just is annoying. The sex parts, the breeding and town is excellent. The exploration, fighting and quest side is a pile of wank.
This is a game with depth. If you don't have time to enjoy the process of achieving the desired reward, go watch porn. The battle system has its flaws, but it is a solid game once you understand everything behind it. I have played this game probably over 100 hours and still don't have everything unlocked.
only problem that i have is entering a portal and when you kill everything to get rewards you try to go back home through the portal only to have it say the portals is closed then it forces you to use the option to get back through the menu exit option which kills your team that you spent hours lvling that and you lose all the things you managed to get by being in the portal .. or am i missing something ?
So i have a question why cant i play on freeplay for example i took male beastwoman and insect woman then i load world and ... 1758 sec later i gave up cause it was not loading am i the only one in this trouble or are there any other ?
