Why do you assume it's a conscious choice? Have you tried modeling and animating? It's not like you push a button and "presto!" a pretty face appears. Might just be dev lacks the skill. From what I'm seeing, though, the faces are fine, especially Mia hahaha =D...but they look a bit off when trying thoughtful expressions, like the wrinkles in the forehead aren't done right, so it screws with our brains and facial recognition, but overall, there's way too much whining for the crime going on.

Good game, but where the hell are sex sounds and moans. Also animations could be better.
