I agree with you regarding the 9 gig DL for PC. I did see some lewd stuff in my brief play with it but precious few choices. The use of language was poor, obviously a non-English speaking writer.

I would have preferred that the Dev keep the file size small and the renders lower quality. Story and good characters more than make up for lower quality renders IMO.

Alright. I am a soon to be (don't know "how soon" is soon) a published VN Developer and I am seeing comments about file size (yeah I tend to shy away from anything bigger than 5 gig but with an external drive it makes it easier for the bigger downloads). How big is too big?
Also, on renders. Mild quality but good visuals or High Quality with very good visuals and added size?
I am still working on the story line so that it is not a "flash" in the pan download but I figure get feed back before I start my coding and renders.

Hey, that’s awesome congrats on getting close to publishing! File size definitely matters. Under 5GB is ideal for most players, especially for demos or early releases. Bigger can be fine if the content really justifies it (longer story, great visuals, etc.), but optimizing is always a good idea.
