Remaster, why? It was great already. Progress the story instead.

I like the game, character, animations, story, etc... But I don't like developers that do remakes of unfinished games. It is like going to see a movies like Lord of the Rings, the first movie ends and you are waiting for part 2, but the studio just re-releases part 1 again with better CGI.... I want to see how the story progresses.
I agree with you. My guess is that the DEVs decided to make the game more uniform. It wouldn't be the first case - I can recall at least 2 games where the DEV/DEVs stated that the game was undergoing some reworks about the first part.
