The incest restoration mod makes the game unable to load even the first screen. Just shows a blank wall.
There is no incest restoration mod for the current version - yet. If you've used a patch for this version (or 1.3) then you've broken your game. A new mod HAS to be created individually for each update and will not work for past nor future versions of the game.
Can't get it past Unity Splash Logo...
Seems the Patch doesn't work for 1.4 (but it clearly says "ONLY USE WITH 1.3" in the readme.txt, so that's ok).
Besides that, it's one of the best games of this kind I played so far,
it's funny like no other, the characters are drop dead gorgeous,

The release of 1.4 is bugged. You can either wait for an update OR I have a corrected patch by Major Wanker that works brilliantly here: https://app.box.com/s/rnb8isy4i3qkpj3urps489y370baowlv
Unfortunately it still doesn't work for me after applying the patch. Neither the manually copied in saves, they show up in the load menu, but nothing happens if you click on them. Thanks for trying to help tho
What program is needed for windows 10 to alter the ave files? Most of the guides say notepad, which doesn't bring up alterable numbers. Just rectangles that make the game unplayable if you mess with them.
I just want to skip the money grind š So many events take place in the tiny window allowed to make money, that you can't build money while working on their storylines.
You can't edit the .sav game files in Notebook since the change to Unity with version 1.0. You now need to upload the file to a specialist online editor such as saveeditonline.com and then download the changed file back into your saves directory.
its a somehow advanced toll but its easy to use if you understand the basics.

I'm on a Mac using version 1.3 but I can't save and I can't find the save game files or file location. Can someone post the where the save game file location should be on a Mac and if creating a folder there will fix the issue?
Noted a different user indicated that even with the save game files you may not be able to interact with them in game?
I don't use a Mac but as far as I'm aware the folder situation is still the same - saved games go in a folder called Saves inside the root of your game folder. If it's missing then creating a folder there SHOULD fix the issue if you're using version 1.3 (there is a bug in the Windows version 1.4 - not sure if it also applies to the Mac version 1.4).

For Windows there are three folders within the games root folder ("Mono", "Saves" & "School Love and Friends_Data"). Looking at the Mac folder layout I'd assume the Saves folder goes inside the Contents folder.
