1st these aren't complete projects both VNs you mentioned are complete; and the same could be said about the 1 stars ratings
also rating these VNs or games is more about the current patch if it' has bugs, if the story is holding up and progressing well, has sound or animations and their quality.
you both could also elaborate on how a slow update rhythm and having little content, makes the VN such a horrible experience to rate 1 star, i'm truly interested
