Serenity is a kinetic adult visual novel that has you playing the part of the MC... whose mother passed away from cancer. She left behind a book for him that when read, would transport him into the world of Serenity.
Serenity is not your average AVN. It does not pretend to be something it's not. It is over the top, paced quickly, and focused on happy endings. The MC is overpowered, and immediately loved by all (even with a little romance in between). Over the years I have developed Serenity, it has garnered one of three different audiences - those that love it, those that hate it, and some that are somewhere in between.
Serenity was meant to be easy... a relaxing jaunt through a weird world of dream writers, dream angels, and a god of wishes and dreams... with a LOT of sex mixed in. A world where struggles are dealt with very quickly, and everyone is easily forgiven. If you can stick through the earlier cheesy scenes and dialogue, you may be surprised and you may even fall into the first category of people that love this AVN. And if you end up in the second category, well no big deal, thank you for giving it some of your time!

What the fuck happened to Rin? That's obviously not the same character.
Was Jasmine even in this? I didn't see her anywhere, and she was easily the most neglected character from C1. I guess that trend will continue here also.
Not even a single sex scene either. Not one.
Does C2 have any redeeming qualities? I guess it freed up about 500MB of space after I deleted this pile of vomitus. So there's that.

Rin is a disaster area. Doesn't even look like the same character. Put both a render of her in C1 and in C2 side by side and then say they are the same character.
Jasmine must have only had single render in C2 in the background, as I failed to notice her at all. I did notice however, a slew of other dumb loose-end characters that are being added.
Sex scenes don't really matter, as it's all dumb pedestrian vanilla garbage.

I rather liked how Chapter 2 started, felt a bit rushed with reintroducing the character since there are so many but still I enjoyed it.
Dev went back on his word to keep it all as 1 file. Multiple downloads suck donkey ass. 0/5ā for needing multiple downloads.
If size is an issue, have a base game download and include and updater in it, so people can ' check for update ' and download + install update. Size problem gone. All you'd need is a permanent server, which is fairly cheap, a website, and someone who knows how to include an updater.
Fairly cheap being you can hire enough room on a basic server that can run a fully open world MMORPG for PC for thousands of connections at once for $60/month. For a simple server to download updates, I would presume it would be cheaper!

Creating multiple APK's is beyond lazy.
That being said, it is clear the dev has no idea where to take Serenity, and is butchering what was a food game.
Glad I stopped supporting the dev after they backtracked on their word to keep Serenity as a single APK

Chapter one was great!, and I am looking forward to Ch.2 to see where it goes, I know I'm no dev, but doesn't anyone else get tired of all the negative comments? Sure you have to do multiple downloads, but I personally don't mind. Also for those negative people.. I just have this to say.......
