The story of the game She Is My Precious is your story, still hoping for a life you've planned to live. But when an old hope fades, a new one takes its place. Will the past haunt your future, or will it nourish it? What will be left when you have overcome it all?
Gameplay: She Is My Precious is a choice based visual-novel, that will have diverging paths for the main love interest, and multiple endings. It is played from the main protagonist's perspective (POV) for the most part.
Mechanics:Ā Some roaming mechanics could be added in the future, if the situation is right. Until then it will be a normal vn. I plan to add progress tracking, galleries and other things in the coming episode.

"Sandbox", one of the Three Deadly Tags. Right up there with "RPGM", and "Point-and-Click". It tells you right away you're in for a frustrating experience. Has anyone ever done "sandbox" right?
Well at the very least, in defense of this game, the developer might introduce some free roam mechanics in the future. This makes me think more along the lines of Being a DIK than Summertime Saga. True sandboxes usually need to be the foundation of the game to "work". A lot of people seem to prefer busywork with sprinklings of adult content rather than a good book with sprinklings of adult content.
It really depends on what you prioritize when it comes to these games. "Fun" versus structure. There aren't many amazing AVNs that possess both great writing and player freedom (i.e. routes and kink participation choice). It's a pretty short list with Intertwined and Summer's Gone coming immediately to mind. On the other hand, I can't name a single sandbox, rpgm, or point and click I enjoyed that I also did not use cheats, walkthroughs, or straight up gallery mods for. There is only so much grind and gameplay one can take imo.
There was a game called "Influencing" (I think), and it had enough potential to be noteworthy. It still had major problems, just not sandbox problems.
Off the top of my head "Come Home" is a sandbox done right: it clearly shows where content is available or not (not wasting your time searching for remaining content), and thank to that sandbox mode you can choose which content to do (or completely avoid) in the order you want.
Why even bother releasing this when there is little to no content I literally finished this in around 10-15 minutes and that is with reading slowly.

A promising start. Not a huge fan of how the camera angle seems to change slightly with every frame, but I do look forward to further installments.
