Do you want to make your character a standup guy, or have him join the dark side? It will be up to you. The game will give you the choice... But it is you who will decide what will happen. It will start with simple days, but as more simple days pass, the more complicated and colorful the story will become.

How do I get to have sex with Paola (the neighbor in Chapter 2)? I must have been to the dance club a dozen times, but it's not leading anywhere. Neither do I find a path forward with Maria (the receptionist) or the daytime masseuse.
From what you wrote, i assume that you are in open roaming mode game. Just check your home or office computer. Info App will show what to do. The last update is improved with a lot of details. If nothing is there - you have to wait next update. For Paola and Maria: there has no sex yet.

This update brings nothing new. A few weeks of grinfest pointless. Work, club, watch TV and make babies. The same thing over and over again.
Don't blame the game but yourself. If you select VN style in Chapter 2, you have ZERO grind... so why you didn't choose that?

The game is great. Don't listen to the complaining bitches here. The choices matter as you have many paths with girls and you can mix and match them. The game is animated and has a lot of sound effects.
Chapter 2 has option for free roaming but it is optional. I already have 4 official kids and 5 if I count Ema... and I love it. No need to wait the end of the game for that. This update 0.9.0 is great. Ema is back. My guy start building small gang and I wonder what will happen next.

To bring James back you have to Unlock VIP by tip the stripper Bombina $300. After that, when you visit the StripClub you will meet Edmon and he will give you the blue pills. And you have to upgrade your SPA with Gym. (If you don't have money, go to the bank and take loan.)... James will call you and arrive.
I've had all of this done for a long time, and now I've been stuck and running around for several weeks. James didn't call.
I have loaded the old save. I chose the free roam option. I have a massage room and a gym. I have everything unlocked. Dora got 150k for her own practice. I have a gun, my own thug and a license to manufacture pills. Dora, Zora and Paola are pregnant. A buddy called but didn't come. Over 10 weeks of grindfest over and over again and I'm stuck.
If you are in sandbox mode, check your computer (Home or Office) and there have yellow Info App.... it will tell you what to do.
