Straight!?Ā is a coming-of-age tale that follows the main character, Zack, a 19-year-old student on his first day of college and the personal journey that ensues after he meets his new roommate: 18-year-old Braden. While Zack initially reports being comfortable with his attraction to guys, we slowly learn how truly uncomfortable he really is.
As they grow closer, each is forced to embark on an existential journey to confront their own feelings on sexuality, attraction, labels, and the impact these have on the way they define their relationship, themselves, and the world around them. Along the line, weāll meet a cast of supporting characters that will each challenge Zack and Braden in their own way as they try to put all the pieces of themselves together and come to terms with who they really are.
In contrast to many NSFW games,Ā Straight!?Ā is a realistic "slow burn" where the primary focus is on dialogue and character development. While there is NSFW content, it is used to enhance the story and the character interactions and to openly deal with issues related to sexuality without censorship. Players commonly report beginning the game with intent to speed through to NSFW scenes, but then find themselves completely invested in the characters and the world around them.
This story has everything. Itās an emotional rollercoaster with flawed and relatable characters full of sarcasm, humor, wit, triumph, and tragedy. It will ask very hard questions of the characters and the readers alike.

This update officially starts Chapter 8 and will take us through the first 1/3~ or so. For those that played the original, it'll stop probably where you expect it to. Lot of new stuff here with two completely new environments that were heavily populated to try and make them more realistic/world-building than what we saw in the original. 638 new pics, new new audio tracks, and some expanded scenes with much smoother writing.

There are some improvements over this version vs the previous (that ran for several years). The dev is redoing a lot of the images and adding more, along with adding more writing and a few more options to the overall gameplay. Seems a bit too early to tell but so far it seems a bit more engaging than the first read-thru. This isn't a hardcore game to get off to. It's more of a slow burn that unfolds over time as the two MCs learn and experience each other and lead up to that 'first time' feeling. 99% of the story seems to take place in the same location. Adding more variety to scenes and situations and more interactions with outsiders would help a great deal. Be prepared to read a lot, it's very wordy.
