Pacing is too slow in this game, it's insane how slow it is. My issue with her is that she is irresponsible when it comes to her safety and others. She takes a jog at night, when she knows that the camp is in the middle of nowhere surrounded by the forest. What can go wrong with that, right? She's also pro investigating that abandoned warehouse when it's explained early in the game that there's something wrong with this area. On the other hand look at Sophie. She's also a bit naive and sheltered in matters of love like Bree, but she's more mature and she is not putting herself or anyone in danger. Is she a bit brash when it comes to her protecting her friend? Sure, Bree requires more delicate handling, but her point still stands.
