The low rating is because the dev is leeching every penny he can from his patrons.
The rating used to be like 5 stars, until the developer got greedy, and started pumping out tiny ass updates every 6 months or whatever it is making over 90k a month. This game has been in development for ages, and they just keep milking it.
It is a good quality game I won't deny that, i just think people are getting fed up with the small updates after waiting 6 months for one..... I say that but, this developer still has boat loads of patreon supporters for some reason but, hey it's their money not mine.. LOL

honestly summertime saga literally carried for 4yrs maybe more im not surprise if they took a break. they did give more content than any other game in ages. So if they take it let them have it. they always come out with banger content.

Developer became a literal millionaire from the game, then switched from working on it full time to working 1 day a month. Specifically to intentionally delay finishing the project so they can milk patreons. This allowed them to milk several extra millions of dollars from the patreons over several years of such delays.
