I noticed a lot of new content that wasn't there before. That's probably why old saves don't work anymore.
I can only play in Cheat mode, but not Normal or Recap? This release shouldn't be released. In this Cheat mode, it seems you don't get to interact much with the other (outside the house) characters in the game.
LOL the tech update did nothing but remove all the content the game looks, feels and plays the same dev will slowly re-add all the content that was previously in the game then by the time he finish the re-adding of previous content the game will suddenly need another tech update and the process will start again lol. Dev just lost all credibility.
Why this shitty Downgrade?
So you could ask your shitty question: "Why this shitty downgrade?". Simple.
This game has taken so long to make it feels outdated. I played it close to 3 years ago and it was up to a Ronda update. There still isn't one 3 years later and 90% of the content is now removed. The Dev use to be a one man show and put out content often now there is a team of people and all the content has stopped. Now I finally get it what do you need with Dark Cookies? Milk and lot of it!

the first time I played this game was in middle school and I'm now at university, in almost 8 years the game has barely progressed and now it removes 95% of the content it's a big joke, force to those who pay on patreon
if old saves not work then the programmer should offer a save-download. I dont want to play all again.
