Hate that you have to start again and can not use old saves. It's a dis-service to veteran players. I love this game, but I don't think I will play it anymore after having already restarted newer versions before 17.0 Understand it that it takes a lot of time to go through it again. It's boring.
It is a great game if you played it the first time. But then when you have to restart again when the next version comes out, it's not so great anymore. Great you enjoyed it as I did the first time.
I too tried many different ways to transfer old save files. It doesn't work for me. Maybe you can post your method for us? Maye we are doing something wrong? Thanks.
