OK, having a couple problems here and the walkthrough is not helping. First, I can't find the ruler -- there's not one in the store and I swear I've clicked on every damned thing in the game. Second, the ball stuck in the tree -- there is literally nothing clickable at Priscilla's house, it's just a static picture. Hell, there's not even a tree.
The ruler is outside your Sister room, in the floor. To the side of Priscilla house there is a way of going to the back yard, there is the tree
Thanks everyone. Right after I wrote the above, I discovered that, 1. The information was in the guide all along, and 2. Apparently I'm an idiot. š
@smut i think you can find the ruler in mcĀ“s house, if i remember right in front of mcs sisters room. the quest with the ball in the tree is a little buggy. at the right time you need to go to priscilla's garden behind her house(you need to click on the wall on the left of the frontdoor screen) and click on the tree.
