The Art Of Diplomacy... And Love is the story of a down-on-his luck drifter, who, due some unforeseen circumstances, ends up donning the identity of a young nobleman. Now, he has to navigate life at the court of a powerful count, while doing his best to not get his cover blown...and maybe get some quality time with the many ladies of the court, while he's at it.

Characters:

The Main Character:

The main character of this story. Born into a poor peasant family, he had to learn to get by on his own from a young age. Since then, he has been spending his days drifting from town to town, always on the look-out for opportunities to make some money.

Now, a stroke of luck brought him to the court of Khaldia, under a fake identity.

Neela:

Much like the main character, she spent much of her life drifting from place to place. Her main source of income, however, has been the fighting circles of the Empire, earning her coins as a prize fighter.

She's a blunt person, but also quite playful and loyal.

Lyra:

Her and the main character got to know each other during a heist gone wrong. A thief and con-woman by trade, she's quite crafty and knows how to get her way. She'll become a little bit of a headache for our hero, but maybe that headache can turn into something more pleasant.

She's kinky and devious on the outside, but if you dig deep enough, you may find some sweetness.

Alycia:

One of the servants at the count's court. An earnest and somewhat shy girl, she becomes one of the hero's first acquaintances at his new home. She's quite the romantic, who also has a strong sense of justice.

Tarja:

The countess, wife to the count of Khaldia. On the outside, she presents a reserved, even cold personality. The seeming inability of her and her husband to produce an heir, seems to weigh heavy on her. However, the arrival of the main character at the court has intrigued her. Will he be able to pierce her shell of cynicism?

Asiya:

This mysterious blind woman serves as the "prophetic vessel" to the Mystic, which the countess has brought to court. Believers in the mystic arts say she has the ability to see beyond the physical world and tell the future. However, others say, that she and her master are charlatans, using fake, make-believe magic, to fleece the easily impressed.

Whatever it may be, Asiya keeps her real self tightly locked to herself, presenting a personality of formal cordiality.

Aleta:

Aleta serves at the court Scriptorium, as an assistant to the Keeper of Tomes. She may assist the main character in his tasks or in general questions about the lore of the lands.

A smart and laid-back person, who also has a kinky side to her.

Gyla:

As an apprentice to the Master Physician at the court, Gyla is highly interested in the humanoid body, in more ways than one. Additionally, she also dabbles in the art of alchemy.

She can be blunt and somewhat strict, but also very playful. Loves to experiment, too.
