whats the difference between the normal and the compressed version?
I am not sure about this particular apk, but usually compressed version have renders with lower resolution. Sometimes it is noticeable and other times it isnt, depending on the device your are using.
Check the sites FAQ. It covers most of what you might want to know.
To answer your question, the compressed version isn't different at all except image quality suffers a bit.
When will it finally continue? Play 30 to 40 minutes and you're done. Update to 0.3c only because of votes. Subtitles in German don't work at all, game runs worse than before. Very bad
