uh if u dont delete ur old version and download and unzip the new version the new version will have ur last version saves, renpys great that way

Nice game.
It might just be me, so correct me if i'm wrong.
An indication of the time of day would be nice as I feel that a lot of events, going on's can over lap, leading you to not knowing what day or time of day it is.

Also if you don't follow a certain path, route, the game can be confusing, as it can refer to an event that may or may not of happen depending on your choices, for example MC refers to Miss Brown while having dinner with ........ when this happen you will then know if you went wrong or not, which is frustrating but in a good way.

Really made it interesting and fun, had me dive into the story immediately and wanting more. The side story of the night club was a bonus. Makes me want to go back to developing games again like when i was in college. 5 stars but the textures from the prolog would be a nice addition.

You are right.
Just played both versions, and the Prologue is way better, the DEV could easily continued that version, and they could of also improved on what they did,
The DEV probably thought it was easy money to re-write the same story from a different prospective, angle, approach , I just feel sorry for the supporters.
Both are fun games to play.

I personally didn't see any thing wrong with the Prologue, could of easily carry on with that style, as the way it ended, left me wanting more a lot more, and for a short game it got nice amount of animations which you don't see in other games.

As for this new style, a bit of a bummer, as it feels like a different game, even thou the models are the same, and it still has a good amount of animations, shame the DEV didn't do an update which shows them moving from the lake side to the city.
