Just not enough continuity in this game with regards to sexual advancement. Example you make advances with your younger roommate, but if you sneak into the bedroom and try to have sex with her its Game over. Far too often there is nothing to do that has not been done already. Interactions and Character Development and more important develop the story, keep it moving, and maybe work on some of the development so scenes do not repeat to moods and advancements at the start of the game.
